This is an interesting and, I think, balanced commentary on the news of this individual who abused his position of trust to molest an 11 year old girl.
What he did was disgraceful and will have caused extreme upset to the girl and her two brothers.
We do not know what was identified by social services, for them to have assessed Suleman Maknojioa as not posing an ongoing risk. However, there is no doubt that the newspaper headlines are likely to encourage Islamaphobia; with groups like Britain First and the EDL likely to seize on this to further their hate filled message.
As ever, our media is proving adept at sensationalising stories in order to see more copy and support their own agendas.
