Lies, Fraud and a Referendum Victory

I don’t think there can be any doubt that the referendum was heavily affected by lies and illegal activities.

It is time the government and parliament acknowledged this and nullified the original referendum.

A new referendum should be called.

All campaigning, including Facebook and Twitter posts, should require sign off by two independent invigilators. All ‘live campaigning’, such as TV & radio broadcasts, should be vetted by the independent invigilators and public retractions imposed where deemed necessary.

Anyone, politician or activist, shown to have lied or knowingly misled the electorate should face prosecution, fines and lifetime bans from holding public office.
