Whilst President Chump is still refusing to acknowledge the clear victory achieved by former Vice President Joe Biden, the only living former Republican President of America, George W Bush, has phoned Biden and offered his congratulations.
Mr Bush has also phoned and offered his congratulations to Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, who is the first woman to be elected to be Vice President in American history.
"Though we have political differences, I know Joe Biden to be a good man, who has won his opportunity to lead and unify our country," Bush has said. "The President-elect reiterated that while he ran as a Democrat, he will govern for all Americans. I offered him the same thing I offered Presidents Trump and Obama: my prayers for his success, and my pledge to help in any way I can."
Former President Bush also said; "The American people can have confidence that this election was fundamentally fair, its integrity will be upheld, and its outcome is clear,"
"The challenges that face our country will demand the best of President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris -- and the best of us all," Bush said. "We must come together for the sake of our families and neighbours, and for our nation and its future. There is no problem that will not yield to the gathered will of a free people. Laura and I pray for our leaders and their families. We ask for God's continued blessings on our country. And we urge all Americans to join us in wishing our next President and Vice President well as they prepare to take up their important duties."
The former President has shown, in his comments today and in phoning President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris, far greater statesmanship than the orangutan president has managed to show in all of his miserable life.
Trump remains, without doubt, the most pathetic, self-obsessed, inadequate president that America has ever had. He is the very embodiment of a megalomaniac; the exact type of person that should be prevented from reaching such positions of power.
His childish rants via Twitter are just an example of his unstable mind. His eagerness to blame everyone else and victimise those who dare to criticise him, just show how weak he is.
America is on the cusp of a new beginning. The President Elect, Joe Biden, addressed a deeply divided nation Saturday night, using his victory speech to urge for compromise. He asked supporters of President Trump to give him a chance, and called on all Americans to turn the page from what he described as a "grim era of demonisation."
Biden made his plea for unity and understanding in his home town of Wilmington, Delaware, whilst the current occupant of the White House showed no indication that he plans to concede to his rival. Instead, the bloated orange buffoon continued to push the fiction on Twitter that he had won the election; making baseless accusations about how the election was stolen from him.
Biden jogged onto the stage in Wilmington, wearing a mask, and repeated his promise that he would seek to unify rather than divide. He pledged to govern fairly, saying that he does not see blue states and red states, but only the United States.
"For all those of you who voted for President Trump, I understand the disappointment tonight. I've lost a couple of times myself. But now, let's give each other a chance," Biden said. "It's time to put away the harsh rhetoric, lower the temperature, see each other again, listen to each other again. And to make progress we have to stop treating our opponents as enemies."
Vice President-elect Kamala Harris also spoke with passion, referring to Biden's bravery in having the "audacity to break one of the most substantial barriers that exists in our country and select a woman as his vice president."
She said, "While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last, because every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities. And to the children of our country, regardless of your gender, our country has sent you a clear message: Dream with ambition, lead with conviction, and see yourself in a way that others might not see you, simply because they've never seen it before. And we will applaud you every step of the way."
Joe Biden is absolutely right, when he said: "This is the time to heal in America."
