Ferry & Freight Firms Urged to Plan Alternative Routes for Drugs & Other Vital Supplies

Alternative routes would be those, from other European ports, which haven’t been used for such freight previously, meaning we don’t know how efficient they’ll be.

Martin Sawer, of the Healthcare Distributors Association, told MPs that the pharmaceutical industry was "very concerned" about a no-deal as it could have "catastrophic" consequences for the supply of drugs.
