A General Election Is Not The Answer

This general election is a mistake.

Boris and his chums have been continuing to try and manipulate circumstances for his own political aims and, after all their dishonest manoeuvring, the rest of the politicians have fallen for it.

To have an election when one issue is distorting the narrative to such a significant extent is completely wrong.

Johnson’s ’deal’ should be put to the people in a confirmatory vote.

Then, once the outcome of that has been decided; leave with that deal or remain, an election would be appropriate.

Going ahead with an election, which will ultimately decide our future relationship with the EU, when constituency lines and centuries old ingrained voting behaviour will be so significant, is completely wrong.
